"Your Clothes Are Making Indian Cotton Farmers Commit Suicide"
The film "Dirty White Gold" has gained the funding it needed through Sponsume to explore why nearly 300,000 Indian cotton farmers have committed suicide to escape debt.
Presented by documentary journalist Leah Borromeo, the film highlights one of the reasons Cock & Bull Menswear is committed to ethical clothing.
As far as we are concerned the issues are simple: people should NOT have to die just so that we can have cheap clothing!
We applaud Dartmouth Films and the Cotton Film Company who have got this very important film off the ground and look foward to seeing the film when it is completed.
